The state of California has adopted legislation that allows for the separate sale of ADUs (when cities opt in!)

But this is going to be a complicated roll out.

We'll add resources here over the course of 2024 to help:

• homeowners

• city staff

• developers

The big categories I expect are:

• resources for citizens who want to advocate for ADU condo ordinances in their city

• resources for city staff who want to develop ordinances that meet their directives and are compliant with the state

• resources for developers like CC&R boilerplates, references to specialist lawyers, and a list of cities that have adopted Condo ADU ordinances
